'Perfect Day'는 벨벳 언더그라운드의 중심인물인 루 리드(Lou Reed)가 1972년에 발매했던 명작 [Transformer]에 제일 처음 수록됐던 명곡이다.

영화 [트레인스포팅] OST에도 수록되어 잘 알려지게 된 이 노래가 25년만에 슈퍼스타들에 의해 재탄생됐다.

영국 BBC의 '1997 BBC Children In Need Appeal' 행사를 위한 자선 싱글로 발매된 본작은 유투의 보노, 엘튼 존 등 많은 슈퍼스타들이 참여했는데, 노래 가사와 함께 각 소절마다 부른 가수는 아래를 참고하시라.
